SigmaSense raises US $22M

Austin-based touchscreen technology developer SigmaSense has raised $22 million in a Series A round led by Foxconn Technology Group.

The company’s technology provides the ability to make high-hover touchless gestures on screens and sense through water.

Miami-based Papa, a startup that pairs older adults and families with people to provide companionship and assistance with everyday tasks, has raised $18 million for its Series B round led by Comcast Ventures.

The company is already operating in 17 states and will use the new funding to be in all 50 of them by January.

Adeigbo has raised $1.3 million in seed funding from Fuel Capital, making her the first eponymous fashion brand led by a female, Black designer to secure more than $1 million.
